 Analysis of Quality Weighted Gene Expression Data

Abstract

 

One of the useful algorithms used today to find classifying genes from gene expression data is the TNoM score. From the technology point of view it is expected that microarray data will carry measurement quality information attached to each entry of the data matrix. These quality figures are derived from properties and statistics of the microarray image. In this project we will modify the TNoM score so that  these weights will be taken into account during the calculation. This change should make the TNoM score more reliable, resistant to noise and improve its results.
